HEIC to JPG Converter
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many Windows PCs, Android phones, websites and upload forms cannot open. Convert them to JPG — the format that works everywhere — without sending your private photos to any server.
JPG photos are placed in the PDF exactly as they are (no quality loss), so metadata such as the location stays inside the PDF. To remove it first, use Remove EXIF Data.
Tip: the first HEIC photo can take a few seconds while the HEIC decoder loads (a one-time download of about 3 MB). After that, conversions are quick.

Frequently asked questions
What is a HEIC file?
HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the default photo format on iPhones since iOS 11. It stores photos at about half the size of JPG, but many devices and websites still don’t support it.
Does the photo stay the right way up?
Yes. The rotation stored in the HEIC file is applied, so portrait photos stay portrait.
Why does the first HEIC conversion take a moment?
Most browsers cannot open HEIC by themselves, so Imgovo downloads a HEIC decoder (about 3 MB) the first time. After that it is cached and conversions are quick. Safari on recent Apple devices opens HEIC directly.
How do I stop my iPhone from taking HEIC photos?
Go to Settings → Camera → Formats and choose “Most Compatible”. New photos will be saved as JPG. Existing HEIC photos stay HEIC, so convert those here.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to Imgovo or anyone else.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Select or drop as many images as you like. They are converted one after another, and you can download each file or all of them together as a ZIP.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Undo and Redo appear above the list once you add files (or press Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z). They bring back a file you removed, undo “Clear all” and return to the previous quality or format — files are converted again automatically when needed.
Is the converter free?
Yes — free, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit.
