WebP to JPG Converter
Downloaded an image from a website and it saved as .webp? Convert it to JPG so it opens in every photo viewer, editor, messaging app and upload form.
JPG photos are placed in the PDF exactly as they are (no quality loss), so metadata such as the location stays inside the PDF. To remove it first, use Remove EXIF Data.
How to convert WebP to JPG
- Drop one or more WebP files into the box above — or click to choose them.
- Adjust the quality if you like — each file is converted to JPG straight away.
- Download a single file, or all of them at once as a ZIP.
Why convert WebP to JPG?
- JPG works in older programs, printers and upload forms that reject WebP.
- Easy to share by email or messaging apps without compatibility issues.
- Batch convert a whole folder of saved web images at once.
When this conversion makes sense
Use this when a WebP you saved from a website does not open in your editor, your email program or an upload form.
Good to know
- JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
- The JPG is saved again at the quality you choose. The default of 90% looks the same as the WebP for most pictures.

Frequently asked questions
Why do images from websites save as WebP?
Many websites serve WebP because it is smaller and loads faster. Your browser saves the file in the format the website delivered.
Are transparent WebP images supported?
Yes. Because JPG has no transparency, transparent areas become white. Convert to PNG if you need to keep them transparent.
Can I convert animated WebP files?
Only the first frame is converted, since JPG cannot store animation.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to Imgovo or anyone else.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Select or drop as many images as you like. They are converted one after another, and you can download each file or all of them together as a ZIP.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. Undo and Redo appear above the list once you add files (or press Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z). They bring back a file you removed, undo “Clear all” and return to the previous quality or format — files are converted again automatically when needed.
Is the converter free?
Yes — free, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit.
