Add Watermark to Image

Stamp one photo — or a whole batch — with a text or logo watermark before sharing it online. Protect your work or add a brand mark, entirely on your device.

Drop one or many images here, click to choose, or paste from clipboardJPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF and more · up to 100 at once · processed entirely on your device

Tip: lower opacity (30-50%) works well for a subtle brand mark that doesn't distract from the photo. Choose several images to watermark them all in one go.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. Watermarking happens directly in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. The file never leaves your device.

Can I use my own logo?

Yes — switch “Watermark type” to “Logo image” and upload a PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest result.

What opacity works best?

30–50% protects the image while keeping it pleasant to look at. For maximum protection, place a larger watermark in the center at around 40%.

Why is the text size different on each photo?

Imgovo starts with a text size of about 4% of the image width, so the watermark is readable on both small images and large phone photos. You can change it freely.

Why does my text have a soft shadow?

White text disappears on a light photo and black text on a dark one, so Imgovo adds a soft shadow in the opposite tone by default. Switch “Text style” to Outline or Plain if you prefer another look.

How do I cover the whole photo?

Tick “Repeat diagonally across the whole image”. The mark is tiled at an angle over the entire picture, which is much harder to crop out than a single corner stamp.

Can I watermark many photos at once?

Yes. Choose or drop several images (up to 100). The preview shows one of them; the same watermark is then added to every photo and you get one ZIP file. Text size and margin are set on the first photo and scaled to each photo’s width, so the mark looks the same on small and large pictures. A photo that cannot be read is skipped and named in the message — the others still go into the ZIP.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Use the Undo and Redo buttons above the settings, or press Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac). They cover every setting, the position, the logo and the list of photos.

Can the watermark be removed by someone else?

A watermark baked into the pixels (like this one) is much harder to remove than an overlay, especially when placed over detailed areas, but no watermark is 100% tamper-proof.
