Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. The collage happens directly in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. The file never leaves your device.

How many photos can I combine?

Between 2 and 4 photos per collage, depending on the layout. You can add photos one by one with “+ Add photos” and remove any of them with the × button.

Why is part of my photo cropped in the collage?

Each cell has a fixed shape, so a photo fills it completely instead of leaving empty gaps. You decide which part stays visible: drag the photo in the preview, or use Zoom and the position sliders. Choose “Fit” to show the whole photo with the background around it.

Can I change the order of the photos?

Yes. Use the arrows on a thumbnail to move a photo earlier or later, drag a thumbnail to a new place, or press “Swap photos”. “Replace photo” changes one photo without touching the others.

What size is the finished collage?

You choose it: the layout default, a ratio such as 1:1, 3:2, 4:3, 16:9 or 9:16, or your own width and height (200 to 8000 pixels per side). Ready-made sizes are News portal 900×600, Two photos 16:9 and Social post 4:5. If a photo would be enlarged, a note tells you it may look soft.

Can I choose the background and spacing?

Yes. “Gap between photos” sets the space between them, “Outer margin” the border around the whole collage. Pick a background color, or a transparent background for PNG and WebP.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Undo and Redo (buttons above the photos, or Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z) bring back a photo you removed, take away photos you added, and go back through order, position, zoom, layout, size, spacing, background and format changes.
