Frequently asked questions

Are multi-page TIFF files supported?

The first full-size page is converted. For scanned multi-page documents, convert each page separately or use a scanner app that saves one page per file.

Do I lose quality converting TIFF to JPG?

JPG uses compression, so a little detail is discarded. At 90–95% quality the difference is practically invisible. Use TIFF to PNG for lossless results.

Does it work with 16-bit or CMYK TIFFs?

Most are supported and converted to standard 8-bit RGB. Unusual TIFF variants from specialist scientific equipment may not open.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser on your own device. Your images are never sent to Imgovo or anyone else.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Select or drop as many images as you like. They are converted one after another, and you can download each file or all of them together as a ZIP.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. Undo and Redo appear above the list once you add files (or press Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z). They bring back a file you removed, undo “Clear all” and return to the previous quality or format — files are converted again automatically when needed.

Is the converter free?

Yes — free, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit.
